Give Me Your Number

“Hi, Kyu Hyun!” Jing Su greeted Kyu Hyun.

“Ah, Jing Su,” he greeted her back. “Aren’t you supposed to be busy?” he asked her.

“Yeah, I am. Just dropping by to check on my brother,” Jing Su explained.

“Yeah right. You just wanna check on Eun Hyuk,” Lee Teuk said, suddenly.

“Oh, oppa! You surprised me,” she said, hitting Lee Teuk on his arm. “And, I really came to check on you,” she continued, rolling her eyes.

“Jing Su is here?” another voice asked. It was pretty loud and it was Eun Hyuk. “You’ve got me something,” he said as he grabbed the basket that Jing Su have hold all along.

“No, I got you guys something,” she denied and correcting Eun Hyuk. “Mum prepared that, you guys better eat those until the last bite,” she warned and the guys nodded. She checked on her watch. “I’m late, bye,” she waved them goodbye.

“I’ll send you. Let’s go Kyu Hyun,” Eun Hyuk said, suddenly grabbing Kyu Hyun’s arm and dragged him along.

“Why me? Damn it,” he whined.

“Thank you, Eun Hyuk oppa and unwilling Kyu Hyun for sending me to this hospital,” Jing Su said and waved them goodbye.

“Have a nice day, Jing Su,” Eun Hyuk said, smiling. He drove away but then, crashed into someone.

“Oh my god, hyung! What are you doing?!” Kyu Hyun exclaimed. Those two automatically get off the car to check on the person.

“You think she’s fine?” Eun Hyuk said, looking at the girl in fear.

“She’s unconscious! You think she’s fine?!” Kyu Hyun claimed, furiously on his hyung’s foolish action.

“She’s dead?!” Eun Hyuk exclaimed, in horror.

“Call Jing Su, you idiot!” Kyu Hyun said as he carried the girl, running to the entrance of hospital. Eun Hyuk took his phone and speedily called someone.

“Oh my goodness, Lee Hyuk Jae! What was on your mind?!” Jing Su asked furiously. “And, I thought my brother is the worst driver in the whole world,” she continued.

“She’s awake,” Kyu Hyun said from the door.

“Oh, thank god,” Jing Su said, as she immediately enter the ward. “Oh my dear, Ha Na. I’m so sorry, this guy is such an idiot,” she said as she glared at Eun Hyuk.

“Oh never mind, Jing Su-ssi. I’m fine,” Ha Na said, touching her wounded head. “I guess so,” she said and smiled.

“I’m so sorry about my hyung,” Kyu Hyun interrupted, elbowing Eun Hyuk.

“Err, I’m sorry,” he said, bowing 90 degrees.

“It’s okay, really,” she said, smile lovingly.

“I don’t understand why you love to disappear so much,” Lee Teuk said to Kyu Hyun. “And, Jing Su said you’re always at her hospital, what about it?” he continued asking.

“No other explanation, slow hyung,” Sung Min said. “He’s in love,” he sang.

“With Jing Su? You wanna die?” Eun Hyuk said, widen his eyes.

“That supposed to be my line. Jing Su is my sister,” Lee Teuk added, rolling his eyes.

“It’s nothing, really,” Kyu Hyun said, throwing his view to outside, staring into spaces.

“Hey!” Jing Su tapped Kyu Hyun’s shoulder. “Ha Na’s up there. Don’t wanna go?” she asked.

“Ask her to go down here, can’t?” Kyu Hyun asked, playfully.

“Guys should make effort,” Jing Su said, rolling her eyes. “And, just tell the guys about Ha Na. I’m tired of Eun Hyuk’s questions plus uneasy Lee Teuk oppa’s stare,” she claimed.

“I will, someday,” he said. “Can you give this to Ha Na? I’m late,” Kyu Hyun said, passing a piece of paper to Jing Su.

“Letter, again?” Jing Su asked. “Do you ever know that in this beautiful world, we have text messages and a thing called phone?” she asked, sarcastically.

“We’re not in a relationship where I can have her phone number,” Kyu Hyun said, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck. “Can you, please?” he asked again.

“Ha Na, Kyu Hyun gave this, earlier,” Jing Su said and put a piece of paper in Ha Na’s grip.

“Thank you,” she said, smiling.

“No problem,” Jing Su said and winked at her.

Can we go out on a date? Like tonight? Please, yes? And, I want your phone number. I’m sick of Jing Su already. Call me. ~ Kyu Hyun

She giggled.

“Hello?” Kyu Hyun answered the phone.

“Hi, this is Ha Na,” she said on the phone.

“Oh, is this your phone number?” he asked, excitedly.

“Uh, no. This is hospital’s phone,” she said, giggled.

“Not fair, you have my phone number but I don’t have yours,” he said.

“Later, I’ll give you,” she said, confirming. “Err, about tonight, it’s a yes,” she said, throwing an awkward laugh.

“Yes! Thank you!” Kyu Hyun cheered.

“Give me your phone,” he said, firmly.

“No. Why you want my number phone that much?” she asked, furrowing her eyebrow.

“Because I like you,” Kyu Hyun said really straight-forwardly. “I like you since the day I met you, I mean, the day I crashed to you,” he said, sheepishly smiled.

“You’re funny,” she said, laughing. “Give me your hand,” she reached out for his hand and wrote her number.
